Two mapping applications for forest users:

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐎𝐧𝐖𝐞𝐛 lists hunting territories and dates for hunts in Wallonia. Its goal is to allow all forest users to coexist more peacefully.

Thanks to the collected data (hunting territories, harvests, hunting dates, etc.), the interface serves as a communication tool among various forest users, including hunters, professionals, hikers, mountain bikers, and walkers...

Consultation is done by selecting your preferred date. Be sure to read the message displayed upon entering the site! Once the date is selected, the hunted territories will be displayed based on the information provided to the DNF, with the following legend:

• Driven hunt: straight line;
• Stalking hunt: wavy or perpendicular lines;
• Closure of public roads in the forest: red;
• No closure of public roads: yellow.

Field signs remain essential

However, it should be noted that the site will never replace on-site warnings. The yellow and red signs placed at the entrance of a public road announcing a hunting action are still relevant. They must always be displayed and fully respected. It is a matter of everyone's safety.

A system of standardized signs, applicable throughout the Walloon Region, informs you of the days and types of hunting practiced. Only this signage is official!

The yellow signs are there to inform you of the hunting calendar for the entire season. These signs allow you to plan your future autumn walks while avoiding hunted areas.

The red signs indicate prohibitions.

• They either warn of a driven hunt during which hunters positioned in line at the edge of a firebreak, path, or even a road await the passage of game pushed by trackers and dogs; this forest sector is prohibited to you on the day of the hunt.
• Or they warn of a stalking and ambush hunting period; they then inform about the hours of the morning and evening when circulation is prohibited.
