Le village de Humain

Discovery and recreation

Humain, a village with varied and rugged terrain, stretches across the northern slope of the Calestienne and is surrounded by the Gerny plateau, a fertile plain whose name is believed to come from Germanica (a Latin word meaning granary), hence its nickname 'granary of Famenne'. The village of Humain features several local stone farms arranged in long or U shapes from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as a farm, the Ferme des Moines, dating back to the 17th century.
Address 6900 Humain
