The Saint-Gobert Church, in neoclassical style, was built in 1876-1877 (architects: Michaux and Victor Sarlet). Nearby, you will find a Centennial Tree commemorating the anniversary of the 1830 revolution, a Monument in memory of the fallen in World War I, a niche dating back to 1780 dedicated to Our Lady of Foy, as well as a small chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua (across from the school). Hargimont is the only parish in Belgium dedicated to Saint Gobert, who was a 7th-century monk. His statue, dating from around 1800, stands majestically in the central nave, while the left aisle houses a dressed Virgin (dating from the 19th century) and the right aisle features a varnished wooden statue of the Sacred Heart. A painting from the 17th century is also preserved in the church, near the entrance, depicting "the Adoration of the Magi." The pulpit of truth has been retained, but the rood screen is no longer in use, and the former left altar is occupied by an organ.
