Le village de Lignières

Discovery and recreation

Lignières, an Ardennes-type village, is located furthest east in the municipality of Marche-en-Famenne and is traversed by the Hedrée stream. It features several small farms dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries. The village sits on a plateau and is dominated by the church, which was rebuilt after the Von Rundstedt offensive in the winter of 1944.
