The Famenne region boasts exceptional heritage, straddling the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg, covering the municipalities of Marche-en-Famenne, Hotton, Durbuy, Rochefort, Nassogne, and Somme-Leuze.

'Famenne by Bike' is organized around a node-point system, with routes ensuring direct connections between the various RAVeLs in the region, centered around the train stations.

Through its network of 450 km of dedicated cycling paths, you can explore the sumptuous and enchanting landscapes of Famenne while taking in a refreshing breath of fresh air.

Wander along paths that lead you into the heart of the sea of greenery that envelops you in the Ardennes forest.

Little architectural and natural gems await you. The valleys of the Lesse, Lhomme, and Ourthe offer their most beautiful sights.

Famenne by bike also features numerous themed rides exploring ridges, megaliths, and the Nassogne forest massif.

Thanks to the node-point marking, you can create and recreate your own itinerary by identifying the numbers of the points you wish to pass through.

This network consists of secondary roads, agricultural and forest paths, and repurposed railway lines.

The Famenne region network is centered around the Famenne Backbone (approximately 73 km) which stretches from Bomal to Houyet, passing through Durbuy, Hotton, Marche-en-Famenne, and Rochefort. Four themed rides are available: - Family attractions via “The Lesse Valley” (17 km), - Nature exploration via “The Nassogne Massif” (15 km) - Historical sites through the “Megaliths” walk (22.7 km) - The “Ridges” ride for the more athletic (60 km) which will also take you through the municipality of Somme-Leuze.
