Recruitment Interview Conduct: Training

Event

In collaboration with Anne-Catherine Geron, we offer you an in-person training:

“Conducting Recruitment Interviews”

Professionalize your recruitment process with this one-day training dedicated to conducting recruitment interviews.

Learn how to structure your interviews, ask the right questions, objectively evaluate candidates, and provide constructive feedback, all while avoiding biases.

A practical training based on real-life situations, designed to equip you with tools that can be directly applied in the field.

This one-day training is designed to empower participants in the effective and structured conduct of recruitment interviews, combining theoretical inputs, discussions, and practical applications.

The day begins with the fundamentals of recruitment, to understand the key principles of a successful interview and master its structure. Participants will then learn to prepare a recruitment interview rigorously: defining evaluation criteria, developing an interview guide, considering practical aspects, all illustrated through exercises.

Particular attention is given to the principles of communication, essential for conducting a quality interview: formulating the right questions, practicing active listening, and adopting an appropriate professional posture. These concepts are also explored through practical exercises.

The training places a strong emphasis on practical application, with conducting interviews based on real situations brought by the participants. The methods of evaluating interviews and candidates are then addressed: using the OECE method, evaluation matrices, identifying cognitive biases, as well as how to provide constructive feedback and communicate a rejection to a candidate.

The day concludes with a summary of learnings and the development of a personal action plan, allowing each participant to concretely apply the training insights in their professional practice.
