Heritage Days: The Jadot House Celebrates its 250th Anniversary

Event

Surrounded by a courtyard, a park, and a French garden, the Jadot House is a bourgeois residence that houses the Famenne & Art Museum. With a self-guided tour, the sculpted staircase, window seats, interior shutters, stucco ceilings, paintings, and imposts immerse you in the atmosphere of the former salons, bedrooms, kitchen, and servants' quarters.

The magnificent fireplaces made from various remarkable marbles from the region particularly testify to the status of the former owners.

Games and challenges await children during a playful course accessible freely.

Also admire the numerous and varied collections of the FAM that will take you on a journey through the history of Famenne as well as into the surreal world of the artist Remy Van den Abeele.
